The Herval Group
In 1959, a wood company was founded in the city of Dois Irmãos in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, with a sawmill in the district of Santa Maria do Herval. Since then, many years of history, learning and achievements have passed, always having the same solid foundation: its values and principles, believing in the strength of work, ethics, the will to grow and respect for people and the environment.
A little of our history
In the 1970s, Herval began expanding its horizons by producing upholstered furniture. The initiative to produce upholstery led to the next important step: the creation of the foam factory, primarily to cater to the upholstery and mattress production. This marks the beginning of the Herval Group, initially with three divisions: Commercial, Furniture and Chemistry.
The creation of Oluxus
In 2016, a new concept of furniture was proposed – Oluxus. Inspired by the idea of desire and well-living, Oluxus was created to offer furniture with soul—pieces that go beyond function to evoke emotion and elevate the living experience. The focus is on passion for life itself, not just the object. This is why every piece is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, resulting in original and functional designs.
